Sevenish ("Sevenish," "we," "us," or "our") runs the Sevenish app and website — a social discovery platform that helps people meet others and find local experiences, launching in Miami. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, how we protect it, and the choices you have. By using Sevenish, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: name, email, phone number, and date of birth (to confirm you're 18+).
- Profile: photos, interests, general neighborhood, and your personality-quiz answers.
- Activity: events you RSVP to, saves and collections, and messages you send in event and group chats.
- Anything you send us directly, such as support requests or feedback.
Identity verification
To confirm you're a real person, we collect a government-issued photo ID and a live selfie when you sign up. See Identity verification & your ID for exactly how this is handled.
Information we collect automatically
- Device and app information, log data, and general usage (events viewed, taps) to power recommendations and keep the app secure.
- Approximate location — with your permission — to show what's happening nearby. We only ever display your neighborhood to other members, never your precise location.
Identity verification & your ID
Keeping Sevenish free of fake profiles, bots, and impersonators is core to how we keep members safe. So every member verifies their identity before they can browse events or message anyone.
We keep verification data only as long as needed to keep your account verified and to meet legal and fraud-prevention obligations. When you delete your account, we delete your ID and selfie, except where law requires us to retain limited records. [Confirm exact retention periods and your provider's handling with counsel.]
How we use your information

How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited ways:
- Service providers who help us run Sevenish — identity verification, hosting, analytics, payments, and support — under contracts that limit how they can use your data.
- Other members, hosts & venues: your public profile (name, photos, neighborhood, interests, verified badge) and RSVP status are visible to people you'd meet. Hosts and venues can see who's attending their events. They never see your ID, contact details, or precise location unless you choose to share it.
- Legal & safety: when required by law, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of our members or the public.
- Business transfers: if Sevenish is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that deal, subject to this policy.
Data retention
We keep your information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information, except where we must retain limited records for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons.
Your rights & choices
- Access, correct, or delete your information from within the app, or by contacting us.
- Delete your account at any time — your ID verification data is deleted with it, subject to any legal retention.
- Manage location and notification permissions in your device settings.
- Depending on where you live (for example, California under the CCPA/CPRA, or the EU/UK under the GDPR), you may have additional rights — including to access, port, or delete your data and to object to certain processing. We honor these rights; contact us to exercise them, and we will not discriminate against you for doing so.
Security
We protect your information with encryption, access controls, and regular reviews. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep your data safe — and if a breach ever affects you, we'll notify you as required by law.
Age requirement
Sevenish is only for people 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if we learn that we have, we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll let you know in the app or by email and update the "Last updated" date at the top.
