Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of thesevenish.com (the “Site”) and the Sevenish iOS app (the “App,” together the “Services”), operated by Sevenish (“we,” “us”). By using the Services or joining the waitlist, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Services.

What the Site is

The Site is a marketing and information site for the Sevenish app, including a waitlist you can join with your email address. The App helps you discover local events, get matched into small groups of people with shared interests, and chat with your group before you meet. The App is currently in limited testing ahead of public launch; these Terms cover both.

The waitlist

• Joining the waitlist is free and creates no obligation on either side.
• A waitlist spot is an expression of interest, it doesn't guarantee access to the app, timing, features, or pricing.
• Waitlist positions are personal and can't be sold or transferred.
• You can leave the waitlist at any time by emailing us.

The Sevenish app

• You must be 18 or older to use the App.
• Keep your profile honest: use your real first name and real age. Impersonation and fake accounts aren't allowed.
• Your account is yours alone; you're responsible for activity on it.
• Content you post (your profile, your messages, and the photos you take with the in-app camera) stays yours. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display that content solely to operate the Services: for photos, that means storing the photo and showing it to the members who checked in to that event's roll. The license lasts as long as the content is in the Services and ends when you delete the content or your account. We don't sell your content, license it to third parties, use it for ads, or use it to train models.
• We may suspend or remove accounts that break these Terms or put other members at risk, and you can delete your account anytime in Settings.

Community conduct

Sevenish exists to help strangers become friends, and that only works if everyone feels safe. Harassment, hate speech, threats, sexual content, spam, soliciting, and any illegal activity are prohibited, in chats and at events. Use the in-app blocking and reporting tools if someone crosses a line; we review reports and act on them, up to permanent removal.

Zero tolerance. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior on Sevenish. You may not post, send, or upload content that is harassing, hateful, threatening, violent, sexually explicit, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable, and you may not behave abusively toward other members in chats, on event rolls, or in person. Every member can report content or another member from inside the App, and every member can block another member. We review reports within 24 hours and remove the content, the account, or both when our rules are broken. Accounts removed for these reasons are not eligible to return.

Photos. The same rules apply to photos taken with the in-app camera. You may only photograph what you'd be comfortable having every person at that event see, and members who checked in to an event can report any photo on its roll. Reported photos are reviewed by a person and removed if they break these Terms. You can delete a photo you took at any time, and you can ask us to remove one by emailing hello@thesevenish.com.

Events

Events shown in the App are organized by hosts, venues, or third-party organizers, not by Sevenish. Listings sourced from ticketing platforms may change or be cancelled by their organizers, and tickets for those events are purchased from the organizer, not from us. Hosts are responsible for running their events safely and as described. You attend events at your own judgment; meet in public places and review our safety guidelines.

Subscriptions

The launch version doesn't offer in-app purchases. If optional paid plans (such as Sevenish+ and host or venue plans) are enabled later, they will be billed through your Apple App Store account, renew automatically until cancelled, and can be managed or cancelled in your App Store subscription settings. Prices will be shown in the App before you buy; refunds will be handled by Apple under their policies. Features included in each plan may evolve; we won't remove a core paid feature mid-cycle without a proportional remedy.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Services, including attempting to probe or breach their security, submitting false or automated signups, scraping content at scale, interfering with their operation, or using them for anything unlawful.

Our content

The Site and its content, including the Sevenish name, logo, design, text, and images, belong to us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, or use them commercially without our written permission.

Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Descriptions of upcoming app features, pricing, and launch plans are forward-looking and may change.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sevenish will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services, including anything that happens at an event you found through them. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100) or the amount you paid us in the last twelve months, whichever is greater.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the date above will reflect the latest revision. Continuing to use the Site after changes means you accept them.
